Calabogie Rustic Farm Winter Grocery Box
The Winter Grocery Box is a thoughtfully curated collection of delicious items to keep you warm throughout the long (but beautiful) winter season. Filled with locally grown, made, and sourced products that will vary throughout the season, we are excited to launch this new product offering.
Similar to our summer CSA ( Community Supported Agriculture) program, this is a mutually beneficial model that creates consistent and reliable demand for farmers, while providing the community with access to quality, locally grown foods.
What can you expect?
The boxes will vary throughout the season and will include foods such as:
- winter storage crops, like carrots, potatoes, squash
- prepared meals like soups, stews, cabbage rolls, lasagna
- home made pickles, sauces, and relishes
- farm fresh eggs and cheeses
Purchasing today means you will be guaranteed fresh and delicious products without worrying if we've sold out.
The Winter Grocery Box Season will run bi-weekly and monthly from Thursday, Nov. 17, 2022 to Thursday, March 23 , 2023. Need to miss a week? We can offer store credit for weeks you will miss (up to 2 weeks).
Pick-up times: Your Grocery box can be picked up starting Thursday at 2 p.m. through to Sunday at 4pm*
(We are open 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Wednesday to Saturday, Sunday 10 a.m. - 4 p.m.)
*Unless previous arrangements have been made, boxes left at the farm following this time will donated to our local community members.
Cost: We have different plans for different families.
- monthly box $625 for the season - $125/month
- by-weekly box $850 for the season - $85/box ($170/month)
Payment options:
- Pay monthly from November to March.
- Pay full season in 3 instalments. First payment upon subscription, second payment Jan. 1, 2023, third payment March 1.
