Calabogie Rustic Farm’s 2023 CSA

The new Calabogie CSA will be filled with locally grown and sourced produce that varies throughout the season. This season we are thrilled to be growing a much wider  variety of items ourselves. As we continue to develop our fields, we will also be sourcing items from some of our favourite local farms.

CSA stands for Community Supported Agriculture. This is a mutually beneficial model that creates consistent and reliable demand for farmers, while providing community with access to quality, locally grown produce.

The CSA model also helps a farmer mitigate risks that arise with small scale farming, such as unforeseen weather conditions. Sharing the risk amongst a community encourages a sustainable local food system that helps to support the local economy and overall community wellbeing.  

What can you expect?

 Produce will vary throughout the season and will include foods such as:

  • root vegetables, like carrots and beets,
  • leafy greens, like lettuce and kale.  

Purchasing your CSA today means you will be guaranteed weekly fresh produce without worrying if we've sold out.

The CSA Season will run from Thursday, June 15 to Thursday, September 28, 2023. Need to miss a week? We can offer store credit for weeks you will miss (up to 2 weeks). 

Pick-up times: Your weekly pick up will be every Thursday at the Calabogie Rustic Farm and Market. Your CSA box can be picked up starting Thursday at 2 p.m. until Friday at 5 p.m.* 
(We are open 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Wednesday to Saturday, Sunday 10 a.m. - 4 p.m.)

*Unless previous arrangements have been made, boxes left at the farm following this time will donated to our local community members.

Cost: We have different plans for different families. 

Payment options:

  1. Full payment upon order
  2. Break it up into 3 payments, 1st payment upon subscription, 2nd payment June 1, 3rd payment August 1.
